“SALSA” Sparks Collective Action in Guatemala

What happens when local organizations in Western Guatemala work together to promote local development? With the support of Ixoquib’Miriam, participating organizations in USAID Youth Excel’s “SALSA”  have come together under a collective action initiative to implement micro-actions that benefit their community. SALSA is engaging 10 youth groups that are focused on disability awareness, women’s cooperatives, bullying prevention, the inclusion of women entrepreneurs with disabilities in the workplace, gender violence prevention, and job placement to test local solutions.
